Restaurant & Country Pub:
The Black Horse is located in the charming Lancashire village of Limbrick just to the south of Chorley. The pub is set in delightful rural surroundings with magnificent views of the Lancashire Moors. The pub is reputed to be the second oldest working tavern in the UK and holds the longest unbroken drinks license in the county.
The pub still has plenty of country and rustic charm with its low ceilings and open fires. Inside there are two drinking areas as well as a beer garden with tables overlooking the River and you can choose to eat or drink anywhere you wish.
The Black Horse is well known for it's excellent food and well kept ales and is well worth a visit, you may even see the resident ghost on one of it's frequent manifestations!

"A really lovely pub; good beer, really decent food and young helpful staff. Open fires greet you as you walk in. This is a place to go on a cold day and enjoy a warming pint of ale with family."
